Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstract submission has been closed.

1. Registration is mandatory for all delegates including those presenting posters/papers. (Registration should be done separately)

2. The work/Research/Abstract should be related to oncology and relevant to India.

3. Summaries of new, ongoing and updated research (Original work, Case report, hypothesis, good quality review, preliminary data, and thesis work) will be acceptable for submission and presentation.

4. The abstract must be submitted only online at www.isoismpocon2025.com

5. One Delegate cannot submit More than 3 Abstract.

6. Inappropriately structured or incomplete abstracts will not be accepted.

7. An abstract may not contain any illustrations, images. One table can be submitted if crucial to judge the quality of abstract.

8. Scientific Committee will select best Poster from each applicable category for Oral Presentation and corresponding author will be appropriately informed

9. Presenting author to be highlighted in bold and underline

10. The abstract author will be notified by email about its acceptance and other details.

11. Accepted presenters must adhere to deadlines and guidelines, and they must promptly respond to communication.

12. Attractive awards for the winner.

13. Winners from each poster category will get chance to present their work in main session.

14. Last Date of Abstract Submission is 31^st August 2025.

15. Abstract must be typed and presented in English

16. Use the Font type Calibri and Font Size 11/12

17. The Abstract written should not exceed 500 words

18. 5 Awards for Surgical videos (Can be increased if we have more good videos) (All the Video Abstract presentation to be shared via wetransfer (https://wetransfer.com) to conference email Id isoismpocon2025@gmail.com).

The following presentation formats are applicable

1. Oral presentation: Abstracts of superior quality can be selected for presentation in a session where discussants will place the research findings into perspective. The scientific committee reserves the right to assign an abstract for oral presentation to a poster presentation.
2. Poster presentation: All the posters will be displayed. A specific time will be assigned where the judges will assess the poster based on content, presentation, etc.
3. Video Presentation: All video abstracts should be submitted for ISO Society only (Abstract Submit For ISO), The Video presenter should have been part of the operating team, and the main operating surgeon should be co-author for the abstract. The abstract should mention the details of the video such as: Introduction (why the video is being presented), Method (what the procedure is), and Conclusion. Time for Video presentation - 08 mins The presenting author will receive a letter with the result of the review and the Scientific Committee’s decision on the abstract.
4. Surgical videos are also invited for submission. The maximum duration of the video is 8 minutes. The upper limit of the file size is 100 MB. The video should be submitted in .avi / .wmv / .mov / .mp4 format on the submission portal. Audio narration is desirable but not necessary. The submitting author will be required to present the video in a high quality format on the day of the meeting.
